It’s another gloomy day here in Seattle. So I thought this would be a good moment to post a few more photos from this past weekend’s day trip into the Cascade Mountains.
These were taken after our detour to Index but before we reached the pass. I actually hopped out of the car on a turnout (which is not unusual for me) to take this group. 
And this is one I snapped at a cute little tourist shop advertising handmade taffy, fudge and novelty foods.
Totally worth stopping if you come across it in what feels like the middle of nowhere. Got some awesome road trip treats!

Probably not what you wanted to hear… but I can’t get the Twilight lullaby out of my head after seeing these incredible shots. Surreal. More amazing work!
It was really surreal. … and YOU probably don’t want to hear THIS but, I don’t know what the Twilight Lullaby is. I know, I’m a disappointment.
